Gangotree social organization is working as a FA in CDP-MLIP (Crop Diversification Programme in Mega lift irrigation Project) project in Rasulpur block (cluster-3) of Jajpur district. The project has implemented in 11 GP in Rasulpur block. The GPs are like Rasulpur, Bhotaka, Gandhana, Badakainchi, Odisso, Jabra, Nathuabara, Tikarapada, Sribantapur, Pahanga and Laxminagar.The FA GSO is working with 3400 households in 79 villages of Rasulpur Block. At the very beginning of the project MOA was signed among the CDAO and Gangotree Social Organization for the batter conduct of the project. The main objective of this project is to motivate farmers to cultivate non-paddy crops in higher or medium land in kharif season for that they will get incentives from the Govt.

In the very beginning Gangotree Social Organization Organised awareness programme through road show in 79 villages of 11 GPs for aware people or farmers about this project and its objectives. GSO has done miking in every villagesof this project area in Rasulpur block to motivate and create awarenessamong the farmers to do non-paddy crops in higher medium land in kharif season with the help of irrigation and financial facilities given by the state Govt.CDAO, BAO, ADHO, AHO , ADO also organized awareness with GSO in different villages of this project area.GSO made lip late, Poster, Hooding’s of CDP-MLIP schemes and display in every villages of this project areas. had organised awareness Rath to move and aware farmers about this project and its benefits among the people of this cluster.

After awareness campaign Gangotree social Organozation started field verification of higher medium land holder in project areas. went to the farmers and verified the land for the irrigation purpose with the help of BAO, AHO, Krusakasathi, Udiyanasathi then created awareness about non-paddy crop, land and irrigation facilities among the farmers about CDP-MLIP and  started collecting application form for availing incentive for non-paddy crops from the farmers by verifying their land and cultivating areas. GSO has collected 3412 application form in 11 GPs for preparing Claim bill.Organizing Farmers training and Cooking competition among them to create awareness among them in this programme near about 1500 farmes were participated.
